Mindworks Music Productions is pleased to announce the First Annual Northeast String Workshop this August 27, 28, and 29 at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock, PA. The workshop will feature all day instruction on mandolin, fiddle, and guitar. This will be a great opportunity for musicians of all skill levels to learn from today’s best.
Each
day will be jam packed with over five (5) hours of instruction covering a wide
range of topics and one-on-ones with the instructors. The workshop will help
everyone improve their playing, get comfortable in a jam session, and know
their instrument a lot better. Jam sessions will be held real time on site.
This will be a great opportunity to immediately apply what you are learning.

Music is excited that members of Hickory Project are leading this year’s
workshop. The instructors are Anthony Hannigan (mandolin), Coleman Smith
(fiddle), and Mark Morris (guitar). Hickory Project has taught at some of the
most prestigious workshops and camps including Rocky Grass Academy in Lyons,
CO, the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, WV, and La Roche Bluegrass Workshops
in La Roche, France. Bluegrass Unlimited
has said that Hickory Project “…is a band with huge firepower at its disposal. Hannigan
... leaves no doubt why he's one of the best mandolinsts around, peppering his
solos with style, speed, and soul."
